Rumple Minze Peppermint Schnapps

This famous peppermint schnapps, with the symbolic double headed golden eagle on the label, may sometimes be recognized for its polar bear advertisements.  Owned by the London-based firm, Diageo, this liqueur is produced in Germany by the Scharlachberg distillery.  It has a high alcohol content, 100 ABV (50 proof), and is often drunken as and apertif or digestif.  Rimple Minze can also be mixed with to make excellent peppermint schnapps cocktails.  With the great success of its peppermint schnapps, Rumple Minze has in recent years branched out and started to develop several other product lines which are available in the US and Canada.

Dekuyper


This popular peppermint schnapps is produced by DeKuyper, a Dutch distillery which has been producing various spirits since the year 1752.  The company originally started out manufacturing casks and barrels suitable for shipping beer and spirits, but quickly expanded its business to include distilling beverages for Holland and the rest of Europe.  In the 20th century, Dekuyper extended its business to the USA where they produced an even larger line of products including liqueurs.  Other products which they have on the market include Triple Sec and Puckers (a form of schnapps).

This World Famous Schnapps, produced since the year 1891.  Peppermint was the first and most popular flavored schnapps that Dr. McGillicuddy has produced.  This canadian distillery produces schnapps in a variety of formulas including: mentholmint, cherry, vanilla, lemon drop, black licorice, and peach.
